“Bon appétit, Seventh Grade French!”

The seventh grade French class went on a field trip to a local French restaurant “L’Auberge Provençale” last Thursday. This field trip was the culmination of their study of dining out and food. Students were able to converse in French, demonstrate French table manners, and show off their savoir-faire by enjoying escargots!

“It is very important to use the language in an authentic setting. Reviewing vocabulary or sentence structure in the classroom is one thing, but to engage in conversation in a real world setting is a crucial step along their path to mastery of the language.” ~ Mr. Flemming, World Languages Teacher
