This year in Honors Algebra I, seventh and eighth graders were given the opportunity to complete a math video lesson project with their peers. The purpose of this project was to have students review previous material through a fun activity involving technology. Students were expected to teach a topic on camera in a creative and engaging manner. Some students chose to create a math game show, while others utilized a green screen and scripted a news channel clip. Some groups used music and neat editing techniques. Not only did this project bring technology into the classroom, but it was a way for students to show mastery of specific skills through explaining a topic to an audience.
