Students designed and created their own tessellations as a part of their Pre-Algebra class. The project, a cross-curricular endeavor that combines both art and math, required students to be creative and come up with their own unique artwork. They designed demiregular, semi-regular and regular tessellation patterns.

“It’s important that we make math fun for the students,” says Ms. Walzak, an Upper School Math Teacher. “We work hard to make engaging projects that overlap into these cross-curricular areas.”
