Kindergarten and first grade spent their morning at Blandy Experimental Farm.
Blandy is a 700-acre University of Virginia research facility located in Clarke County and is the home of the State Arboretum of Virginia.
We love Blandy Farm!
Granted, Blandy Farm is only 3.7 miles from campus, but the children love the trip because it is the first time for many of the students to ride the school bus!
This year, we explored three different habitats on the Blandy Farm campus:
Kindergarteners will return to Blandy Farm in the Spring to learn about flowers and seeds while exploring the grounds.
We encourage you to visit Blandy Farm. They have an amazing Educational Team and a very unique campus: http://blandy.virginia.edu/home
