In their science classes for the last few weeks, third graders have been studying nutrition and the digestive system. Today, Dr. Rosenfeld visited with both classes to answer questions and share her expertise. It was a beautiful day to gather on the deck and address burning questions about keeping our bodies healthy. Students were able to closely observe hearts, lungs, a brain, and even a toe!

“What an amazing and memorable learning opportunity for all of us today! Experiences like this make learning about science fun and exciting,” said Mrs. Coutts, the Lower School Science Teacher. “Students were equally fascinated and respectful as they inspected the organs. We especially want to thank Dr. Rosenfeld for taking the time to visit and share this hands-on learning experience with us.”
