Alyssa lives in Martinsburg, WV, but was born & raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She is a recent graduate of CNU (2015). Shortly after graduating, she moved from Newport News, VA to Middleburg, VA for a long-term substitute position at Foxcroft School. Alyssa has taught multiple sections of Pre-Calculus and Calculus, while also working as a House Mother to the Upper-classmen dormitory temporarily.
She worked as a consultant at NASA during part of her undergraduate career to pursue an interest in forecasting/ meteorology. As mentioned previously, she has experience with teaching at a private institution already, for I worked at Foxcroft School from January 2016 – June 2016.
I am very passionate about guinea pigs and have four of my own. Furthermore, I enjoy taking care of and playing with them each and every day. I also enjoy hiking and exploring, reading, listening to music, attending concerts, shopping, and watching reruns of Reba or Friends.
