After earning her B.F.A in Painting from Cornell University in 2004, Hannah joined Teach for America and taught 3rd and 2nd grades in Brooklyn, NY. During Teach for America, she completed her MST at Pace University in downtown Manhatten, NY. Hannah continued her teaching career as an elementary general educator for seven years in Charlottesville City Schools in 1st and 2nd grades, and one in Winchester Public Schools in 4th grade. In 2013, Hannah began working as the liturgical artist for the Montreat Conference Center, in Montreat, NC. In 2014, Hannah joined Powhatan School as the lower school art teacher. Presently, she joyfully continues in both of these jobs simultaneously.Hannah was inducted into the Cornell Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014 for her contributions in Track and Field as a sprint hurdler.
