Welcome to Summer@Powhatan!
EXPLORE, PLAY, DISCOVER JUNE 26 – AUGUST 4, 2023
Registration for Summer 2023 NOW!
Summer@Powhatan is a unique opportunity for children to build their experiences and knowledge while exploring and interacting on our 90-acre campus. Children will enjoy daily activities in art, drama, science and nature, music, and sports along side trained counselors who will guide them throughout the entire week. They will play sports and games, participate in skits, learn camp songs, and engage in campus-wide competitions.
Students will also have opportunities to work with master teachers to explore the Crocker Conservancy and Spout Run, develop artistic skills in our music and art studios, understand science and engineering concepts through hands-on experimentation, and advance technology skills in our Innovation Lab and Makerspace.
No day will be the same as the previous one, and no two weeks will be identical. Each day we will have a combination of activities, special events, and fun and each week we will have a special activity!
Week 1: June 26 – June 30 (Crazy Critters)
Week 2: July 3 – July 7 (closed July 4th holiday) (Dino Week)
Week 3: July 10 – July 14 (County Fair)
Week 4: July 17 – July 21 (Splish Splash)
Week 5: July 24 – July 28 (Lego Week)
Week 6: July 31 – August 4 (Slide into School)
