“We learn not for school but for LIFE”
… And The Annual Fund helps us do just that!
At Powhatan, our education is centered around creating lifelong learners who use their knowledge, creativity, and skills to be confident students in an ever-changing world. This is built upon in the classroom as our 4th graders prepare for their state fair, on the crocker for conservation day, and in the Niemann Auditorium as the eighth graders prepare for their Shakespeare play and Chapel Talks.
Our principles of Excellence, Civility, Integrity, Respect, and most certainly Service are extraordinarily vibrant because our faculty and staff, alumni, generous donors, and volunteers deeply value our Annual Fund and the possibilities it creates in furthering the education and opportunities we are able to provide.
As a community rooted in learning for LIFE, we hope that we all are able to fully engage in the benefit and joy that is found in philanthropic giving. As we give generously, we are able to provide more for the students that are currently attending Powhatan and for those who will join us in years to come.
We ensure that we are providing the highest level of education by supporting professional development, financial aid, faculty salaries, program resources, technology and more through our Annual Fund.
