Graduation: Class of 2011

Published On: June 1st, 2011 | Categories: Powhatan News |

Powhatan School’s 2011 graduation will be held on Friday, June 10th, at 9:30 a.m. The eighth graders have worked hard to receive their diplomas and deserve to have all the students share their sense of accomplishment. It is a very student centered ceremony and sets the standard for younger children to strive for. All parents are invited to attend the ceremony. Many parents come every year because it is such a special event. On Friday morning, students will arrive at the regular time. Buses will run on Friday to deliver children to school, but there is no bus service home at the end of the ceremony. Please remember that the dress for graduation is formal school dress: coat/tie/slacks for boys and dresses for girls.
