Upper School Student Council Officers 2022-23

 
 
Elections for Upper School Student Council Officers were held on Thursday afternoon. Congratulations to all of the students who stood up and delivered election speeches to the Upper School. Those elected include:

President: Jay S.
Vice President: Kalynn B.
Secretary: Aarnav S.
Treasurer: Ellie C.

All leadership positions are opportunities for students to represent their peers in a council where ideas are welcomed, plans come to fruition, and students make a difference for their school and community.

Responsibilities include:

President and Vice President- plan the bimonthly meetings with the advisors, lead all meetings, listen to the other officers and representatives in order to make good decisions, communicate with school members and outside community members, and support initiatives.

Secretary- keeps minutes of all meetings and posts them to the Student Council Google Classroom, communicates with parents through the parent newsletter, and communicates with school members and outside community members.

Treasurer- maintains the council’s budget, counts all monetary donations, and helps make decisions regarding the council’s budget.
