Bio: Alyson began her teaching career in Florida teaching 1st grade. She spent 9 years in upstate NY-one year as a Reading Teacher and 8 years in 2nd grade. This is her fifth year teaching 1st grade at Powhatan. Alyson is certified to teach PreK through 6th grade but loves working with the younger children most! Alyson loves sports and played 4 years of soccer in college. She participated in NCAAs all four years and in the Final Four in 2002.

Hobbies: Photography and anything active (soccer, football, baseball, running) with my husband Scott and our 3 boys Will, Chase, and Jax
