Bio: Cheri grew up in the Chicago area and has lived with her husband and two children in several places as an Air Force family. She settled in Winchester where her children attended Handley High School. Her son is attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York and her daughter is attending William Smith College. Cheri taught fifth grade and grades 7-8 math throughout her classroom experiences before becoming an Upper School Math teacher. She particularly enjoys designing engaging and challenging math lessons and working with children to further develop their mathematical abilities. A life-long learner, Cheri presented at the NCTE National Conference in 2010 and the International Reading Association Conference in 2012 with Laura Robb, Language Arts consultant for Powhatan.
Hobbies: Summer is Cheri’s favorite season; She loves to be outside: traveling, water skiing, swimming, boating, exploring the ocean, and spending extra time with her family.
