Bio: Tamara was a second Grade Teacher for 2 years in Natrona County School District #1 in Casper, WY, Third Grade Teacher for 4 years in Rockingham County at John Wayland Elementary School in Bridgewater, VA, and Instructional Assistant for 1 year at Powhatan School in Boyce, VA. Tamara is in her second year of teaching First Grade at Powhatan School.

She has been involved in Success for All – a school wide literacy program training and implementation, designed Raising Reader’s Parent’s Workshops, and was a Family Support Team Core Member, and a 5th/6th Grade Volleyball Coach.

Hobbies: Spending time with family/friends, creating an environment that enriches the lives of my children, lifelong learning opportunities, traveling, reading, writing, running, outdoor activities,and sports
