Summer reading is very important for maintaining a child’s current grade level skills and for pushing forward to develop skills above the current grade level. Students who don’t read are at risk of falling behind their classmates. Click on your child’s grade level below for the appropriate Summer Reading List.
Lower School:
Summer is an excellent time for reading! Check out the lists below to help guide your choices. Students are not expected to have read every title from the list, and instead should focus on choosing books that are “just right” and encourage exposure to new
authors, topics and series.

Upper School:
Upper School students should read a minimum of 6 books that they enjoy. Below is a list of suggested titles; however, students should choose books they want to read. Additionally, students should keep a list of these books and bring them to English class on the first day of school.
